![]() PLANT SALE To commemorate the two hundred year anniversary of the building of the Cushing House, this year’s plant sale will feature A Particularly Significant Hosta. A new hosta named for the Cushing House will be available during the Garden Tour. For those serious about hosta, ‘Cushing House 1808’ is a sport of H. ‘Krossa Regal’ similar to H. ‘Regal Splendor’, also a sport of Krossa Regal, except it is more mounding in habit and the creamy margin on the glossy green foliage is wider. This particularly significant hosta will be offered at the plant sale 2008 at $100.00 per plant Advance orders from Society members and friends will be accepted. All proceeds from the sale of Hosta ‘Cushing House 1808’ will augment the Wilhelmina and Sylvia Lunt Garden Fund, established in 2007. Sales of Hosta ‘Cushing House 1808’ will provide a living reminder of the 200th anniversary of the Cushing House and also help assure the garden will be maintained for future generations to enjoy.
