Historical Society of Old Newbury in Newburyport, Massachusetts is conveniently located approximately 40 miles north of Boston, Massachusetts on Interstate 95. From the north it is approximately 20 miles south of Portsmouth, New Hampshire on Interstate 95.

From Interstate 95 take exit 57 and head east on route 113 for approximately 2 miles. Route 113 is also High Steet. Your first "true" set of lights in Newburyport's center intersects State Street.

Proceed straight through the intersection and continue for an additional 200 hundred yards and take your first left onto Fruit Street. The Museum is located on the corner of Fruit and High Streets.

Parking is available on both sides of Fruit Street.
